Can I send an ECU without contacting you?
No. Wait until the job has been reviewed and you have received a reference and shipping instructions.
How should I pack it?
Use anti-static protection where possible, wrap the ECU securely, and place it in a strong box with padding on every side. Use tracked shipping and keep your receipt.
How long will it take?
Allow at least 1–2 business days for the repair after the ECU arrives. Postage time is additional.
Who pays return postage?
ECUworx covers tracked return postage after the work is complete and payment has been received.
When do I pay?
Retail customers pay by bank transfer or can include cash if this is agreed in advance. Approved workshop accounts are invoiced by email; immediate payment is preferred, with payment required within 30 days.
Do you offer local work?
Yes. DTC reads, diagnostics, generic service functions and supported ECU work are available around Newcastle and Port Stephens by appointment.
What if the unit is damaged or unreadable?
Explain what happened and include clear photos, fault details and any testing already carried out. We will advise whether the job is likely to be possible before you send it.
