MAIL-IN SERVICES

Tell us what you need, wait for approval and instructions, then send the ECU. We keep the process simple and confirm the job before you post anything.

How it works

  1. Send an enquiry. Include your vehicle, ECU details, requested service and any relevant fault information.
  2. We review the job. You’ll receive confirmation, packing and shipping instructions, expected turnaround and payment details.
  3. Choose how to pay. Pay by bank transfer, or include cash securely with the ECU if agreed beforehand.
  4. Post the ECU. Pack it properly, use tracked shipping and include the reference details we provide.
  5. We complete and return the work. Allow at least 1–2 business days for the repair, excluding postage time. Once finished and paid, ECUworx covers tracked return postage.

Do not send anything until your job has been reviewed and accepted. This makes sure we can support the ECU and requested work before it is in transit.

Mail-in ECU cloning

ECU cloning transfers supported data from an original unit to a compatible replacement. This may include immobiliser and vehicle-specific information, depending on the ECU and job. Send the details from both units, clear photos of the labels and the reason for replacement so compatibility can be checked first.

Mail-in ECU tuning

Mail-in tuning is available for supported ECUs. Tell us the vehicle setup, modifications, fuel used and what you want from the tune. Suitability and the exact service will be confirmed before shipping. Mechanical problems and unresolved faults should be repaired before tuning.

Workshop accounts

Workshops and approved trade customers can send accepted jobs directly under their account. Completed work is invoiced by email. Immediate payment is preferred, but approved accounts have up to 30 days to pay before follow-up. Contact us first to set up the account and confirm the process.
